Creative Bloq Feature: Behind the Scenes of a Stop Motion Campaign
I’m proud to be featured in Creative Bloq in an article that explores key lessons from producing the Nescafé Kuwait stop motion campaign. With added context from Blackmagic Design’s press release around the PYXIS 6K, the piece offers a closer look at the creative and technical decisions behind the project, including camera planning, rig building, continuity, green screen problem solving, and post-production.
The campaign was shot in Dubai, and the production brought together many of the elements that continue to shape my work in animation and commercial filmmaking. As a director working in stop motion, I’m always interested in how movement, timing, and physical design can work together to create something precise, tactile, and visually engaging. This project was also a chance to push that process further through practical experimentation, detailed planning, and a strong post-production workflow.
My approach as a stop motion artist has always been rooted in combining craftsmanship with problem solving, and this feature gave me the opportunity to share more about the thinking and production methods behind the final result. I’m grateful to see the work recognized by Creative Bloq and to highlight a stop motion project developed and executed from Dubai.
